I Am Therefore I Twitter

Is it possible for one to more absolutely prove their relentless self absorption than by having one of these??  I say this because I do have one and I feel very up my own ass as a result.

Twitter.  As a noun it seems cute as in “I just joined Twitter”.  But when you use it as a verb as in “I am twittering more often than Mike Schmid these days” it sounds kind of dirty.  Maybe that won’t be such a problem as I have just discovered that the correct usage of Twitter as a verb is “Tweeting”.   If you go back to your original Latin text of Virgil’s “Aeneid”, I believe you will find that tweeting is derived from the first person singular of the indicative active present.  Oh, first conjugation, of course - LOL!  But I didn’t need to tell YOU that…

Want to see my Twitter?  Shit, I just disproved my initial point.  Oh, well.

    Twitter rollcall?

    http://twitter.com/adi — follow away!

I predict that Kay will start using Twitter instead of Google within a month (as in, “Does any know when Entourage is coming back?”).

And usa needs to follow more people than just his wife. And Tweet from the road!

P.S. I found out about this blog post via twitter.

Ugggh. Just what I need, another URL to frequent. I’m trying my best to steer clear of computer games (otherwise known as productivity enhancement tools) and noodle web sites. While I still frequent chats, I have reduced the number of sites I visit and try to post less frequently.

Overall, the word vacuous comes to mind (not a slam on a specific game, site or sites but the activities in general). The Who had it right……teenage wasteland……luckily too late for the older folks…the religious need to pray for the young.

No need to have negative feelings about “tweeting” (”twittering” seems more natural doesn’t it?), there is absolutely nothing wrong with doing it. I’m sure that more people do it than will admit to it…
