I just have a quick question about this new band "The Modern Society"...Did it by any chance used to be called "Honor Society"?...and does it happen to include Alex Noyes (the former drummer of the Jonas Brothers, before he was replaced by Jack Lawless)?...because I've tried to stay in touch with Alex somewhat, since his departure from the band a couple years ago, and the last time I talked to him, he was in a band called "Honor Society", and I'm almost positive that's him on the far left :)...Thank you for your time.

Saw The Modern Society 2 weeks ago and they were AWESOMELY GREAT! Heard songs for their upcoming CD at the Vinyl in Atlanta and it will top their last. The band members were so nice and they even told me the name of the song you'll be doing back-up vocals on but I forgot -- it started with an "M" I think...

I'm diggin' the southern politeness. I get all used to it and then visit Boston again and have to get used to the cold distance and outright hostility all over again. But it really is endearing, once you get used to it. Yes ma'am, it is.

The Modern Society are awesome! Had it not been for your blog, I would've never know such great talent "was" in my own backyard being a Georgia girl and all. Just got back from I tunes and made a fantastic purchase. Keep the good tips coming!

Gotta agree with you about the southern accent thing (and I'm a Massachusetts/New York girl). I love it so much that I must say I particularly enjoy the Jacksonville, Florida male dialect. SWOON!
